Our Mission

     It is the mission of the Northern New York Volunteer Firemen's Association to represent and promote the interests of the Volunteer Fire Departments in the areas which they represent. The Association endeavors to promote good fellowship among its members, and provide public relations of the fire service to the people we protect.

     The Association acts as a conduit for training, scholarship and recognition for its member departments. It acts as liaison between the Firemen's Association of New York and the member departments and companies of NNY. Thus bringing further information from the state level to the local level that concerns our membership.
