Today is a monumental one for the volunteer firefighters of New York State

Gov. Hochul today signed into law the tax increase for volunteer firefighters in our state to receive $800 in income tax credit, which is up from $200. This is the first time for an increase in over two decades. Thank you to all who worked to get this passed, especially the volunteers who sent countless letters to their representative or to the Governor to urge the passing of this bill!
